LAUNCHING SITES
You will need to bring a valid Texas fishing license with saltwater stamp, drinks, snacks, sunscreen and sunglasses.
Dont forget to come properly dressed. When on the water, during the cooler months, plan for the temperature to be 20 degrees cooler than what the actual air temperature is. Dressing in layers is best. During the summer months, you will definitely need a hat along with sunglasses and be sure to wear light clothes to stay cool. No black soled shoes please!

From Houston: head South on I-45. the last exit before crossing the Galveston Causeway is Exit #4 Village of Tiki Island. Take that exit and it will U-turn back to the right. Launch is 1/4 mile ahead under the bridge.

Trinity River Island Recreational Area (the locks)
Directions: From the Houston area take the exit 806 off I-10 (1st exit over the Trinity River bridge) and follow the feeder road to the large brown Corps of Engineers sign for Trinity River Island Recreation Area and turn right (south) Follow that road till it dead ends and turn right and you are there. From the Beaumont area take exit 807 off I-10 and cross under I-10 at the underpass. Turn right (west) onto the south feeder road and follow the feeder road to the large brown Corps of Engineers sign for Trinity River Island Recreation Area and turn left (south) through the pipe gate onto Lock & Dam Road. The road will dead end at the lock and you will see the boat ramp there

All trips cost $395 for 6-7 hours and $475 for 8-9 hours for 3 passengers. A 4th passenger is $75 extra unless 15 or under. 15 or under is at no charge. Your trip includes all tackle & artificial baits needed. Live bait is available for an additional charge.
Payments can be made by cash, check, paypal account or major credit card. $100 deposit is required to secure a date and is non-refundable if cancelled within 5 days of the scheduled trip. The captain may cancel trips due to inclement weather in which case your deposit will be refunded or used to hold another date.
