Redfish aka Sciaenops ocellatus

Speckled Trout aka Cynoscion nebulosus

Our redfish are plentiful, strong and an absolute blast to catch. The very best months for these awesome gamefish are August and September when they can be found roaming shallow flats.

Flounder season runs from Early November to mid December and it is by far my favorite time of year for fishing. Catching 40 to 60 a day is the norm.

Excellent Trout fishing occurs all year long. But the best months are typically February March and December.

What clients say about Capt Craig:

Jacob R. - Houston, TX

"  ...Thank you so much for the great time.  My kids can't stop talking about how much fun they had and want to know when they can go again. ..."

Boyd Y. - Friendswood, TX

" I have my own boat but staying on fish is tough unless you are out there all the time.  I go with Capt Craig every few months and he shows me the patterns so I can catch a few on my own. What a great teaching guide he is.  I have become a much better fishermen because of his guidance and his professionalism."

Greg S. - League City, TX

" In  my opinion Capt Lambert is one of the best teaching guides on Galveston Bay. Since my first trip with him in 2013 when I hardly knew how to cast to now where my abilities are getting better on every trip. ..."

Brett R. - Houston, TX

"...When my son and I go fishing with Captain Craig, the experience is so much more
than I could ever hope for.  From the very first step onto his boat to the last step
off, he treats us like we are the most important group he has ever had.   Many
captains say they are “family friendly,” but Captain Craig proves it on every trip.
When fishing, I expect that I will be spending all my time taking care of my young
son’s needs.  However, when we fish with Captain Craig, he goes out of his way to
make my son feel confident and excited to fish.  Captain Craig focuses his time
and energy on my son and insists that I have a good time fishing as well.  Captain
Craig makes sure that everyone’s needs are met.
On Captain Craig’s boat, I have learned more about fishing as well as new
techniques.  He is experienced in finding the fish and knowing how to turn a
“fishing trip” into “A FISHING TRIP!”...  "
